The steps leading up to the room were very steep. My husband said the ones leading down on the inside were very steep also. The room was nice. The gal that checked us in was very nice, friendly and accommodating.

I stayed at Moosehead Lodge with my family, and we all absolutely loved it. The property was clean, cozy, and had a really welcoming vibe. The rooms had that rustic charm we were looking for, and everything was well-maintained. One of the highlights was definitely speaking with the lodge keeper, an amazing person who made us feel right at home. They were friendly, helpful, and genuinely cared about making our stay comfortable.

Great property, nice host. Bathroom was too small, and the exhaust fan was very loud. Room was comfortable and clean. TV has one of those bizarre cable services that require you to learn what all of the buttons do on their remote, just to watch network TV. Prairie dogs were fun to watch, just off the driveway area. We would stay there, again, but only in a cabin, like we had.

Beds were not comfortable. Bedding was old. Shower was dirty. Only a 1/2 a roll of toilet paper but they brought more when we asked. Room was dark. Outside stairs were steep and old. No information in the room on how to contact front desk/staff. No info on website. Phone number to call just disconnected. No place to eat in town on a Monday evening.

My family of 3 1 dog had a great stay, we stayed in the lodge.. it was cozy, clean and the shared kitchen was well equipped and useful for us. Check in was a breeze and the staff (Cody and Ruby) were lovely. One feedback for Moosehead, we stayed at the furthest corner of the property, would be great to have a light there where the cars are parked.
