The architecture of the newer buildings (restaurant, coffee shop, tea house) is really nice and modern and fits wonderfully in with the rustic feel and look of the old tobacco barns. "The hotel is a bit dated and could use a refresh. It was not very busy so noise was not an issue. Our room was spacious and facing the river. The spa area was not as comfortable as hoped. Breakfast was minimal and lunch OK. Location is about a 20 minute walk to the bars in town. "

"I really enjoyed my stay the staff were excellent. The rooms were nice. The breakfast buffet was really good. A couple things I didn’t like was you had to pay to use the safe in your room. I also wish they had better dining options. They had a very limited menu in the restaurant. But other than that, my day was very good."
