“Couldn’t be closer to the beach. Massive porch and surprisingly spacious cottages with notably high ceilings. Separated a good distance from the main road with a feel that is entirely secluded, save for a wave to the neighbors. Quiet and peaceful as one can imagine, the only sounds are the ones you want on a tropical island - waves, birds, and the nightly chorus. The AC is more than one could ask for, very comfortable climate control. All of the appliances worked perfectly - my one and only……

“The quiet environment of Berkey's Jungle Paradise is outstanding. It was fantastic to relax in the hammock at the terrace. And the views from the accomodation is really stunning. If you like to walk many tourist facilities like the Trafalgar Falls and Wotten Waven are at relative short distance (30-40 minutes walk). Berkey is a very kind person willing to assist you at all times. So the place is higly recommended ”

“STUNNING. Incredible location in terms of walking access to many beaches, and other highlights like Point Baptiste Estate Chocolate factory. The staff are super friendly and helpful, and the Distillery is full of treats to enjoy and bring home for gifts. The grocery store down the street has amazing fresh juice and we enjoyed dinner at Nets of Reef multiple evenings.”

“Resort was beautiful! Rooms were clean staff was friendly and helpful . Restaurant upstairs by the pool was delicious! The ONLY problem was the road to get up to the resort itself . A taxis worst nightmare . I got charged extra for every taxi I took JUST because of the road . They all informed me that all taxis forbid the road that’s how bad it is . Just a heads up if I would’ve known I wouldn’t have booked because it was stressful . Other than that great stay !”

“Overall we loved it, though it would have been good to know that you can't drive to the hotel if you don't have a proper 4WD as it is located at the end of a long and steep tarished road. Luckily the hotel offers an transport service for the dirty road between 8am and 5pm. They also offer food(preorder only) and drinks at the bar. The staff was very nice and always helpful. Our favourite was the weekday driver. The cottage had a very nice kitchen unfortunately not much utensils in it... Being so……

“I booked a 10-day stay over Carnival (MasDomnik) at Pinnards Mountain Resort, and it was such a refreshing scenic escape. The mountain views and peaceful atmosphere truly gave that relaxing “getaway” vibe while still being close enough to enjoy the festivities. “Experience nature living in an open air cottage in the rainforest. We enjoyed our time here. But we knew what to expect and it may not be for everyone. The kitchen is small, but adequate and we cooked most dinners here and packed lunches for day hikes. The bed was comfortable and we are grateful for the bug net canopy over the bed. The indoor shower had warm water and water pressure was good.We enjoyed watching a variety of birds feeding on the banana plant flower at one of the openings.……

“Stayed here for 4 nights, the cabin is very interesting. It is in the lovely garden of the owners, a little bit outside of the main street in Calibishie, so better to have a car. The kitchen is great, bathroom also, however there is no airconditioning. The view is awesome from the hammock and terrace. The owners are very nice and friendly. Thanks!”

We love adventure travel- especially to SCUBA Dive.... and this trip was it.Pinard Mountain Village will pick you up at the airport if you want. If not... “Really enjoyed our stay. A. The cabin had a terrific view and we had everything we needed for our long stay. We took advantage of some of the freshly made food items that Amber and Simon offered. Loved Calibishie and their location is great for exploring the northern part of the island. ”

“The apartment is more beautiful in person. It's homey, super clean and quiet. The hosts are very friendly and lovely to chat to, and you're able to enjoy your space and let them enjoy theirs too. Nice walking distance to Toucari beach. WATCH OUT FOR GOOGLE MAPS DIRECTIONS if you have a low horse power rental car with little clearance, as Google might suggest turning right half way down the beech up a steep and vegetated road. No fault of the host though.”
