Basic accommodation

Posted Aug 18, 2017
Pros: Close to LaFonda and central plaza
Cons: plumbing was bad, with delayed flushing and delayed shower draining
Location: Great location but that's about it
Basic accommodation but with luxury price! Plenty of flower pots outside without flowers, making the place look uncared for.

Great Location...needs an update

Posted Jul 29, 2017
Pros: location
Cons: bathrooms brought into the 2000s
Location: This motel is walking distance to all of Santa Fe.
We were very pleased with the location; however, the grounds and rooms need a major update. This is a motel. The name using an "Inn" is misleading. Maybe I should have read other reviews more carefully. The competing lodging just a block away is more up to date.

unbeatable location; walking distance

Posted Jul 22, 2017
Pros: Location!
Cons: Newer fluffier towels would be nice,
Location: It's the center of Santa Fe!
We've stayed sveral times; looking for luxury, stay elsewhere... Looking for a reasonble place to stay in a very popular destination, still walking distance to everything? Then stay here.

No thank you. Go somewhere better.

This is a total bait-and-switch. The room you see in their Nifty website is not the room that you will get. They are old and smelly and badly in need of remodeling. The wall mounted air conditioner, located in the back near the bathroom by the way, does not keep up with the heat of the afternoon sun, making the stench of these old rooms even worse. Spend a little more money and go somewhere nice, do yourself a favor.

Walking distance to plaza, shops etc.

Posted Jul 1, 2017
Pros: Close to the plaza, walking distance.
Cons: Needs updating, why have flowerboxes if they are used for ashtrays and trash.
Location: Plaza is close by, Loretto church, great restaurants and shopping all in walking distance
We switched hotels to here due to prices. Switched back the next day. You get what you pay for. Small room with queen bed. More like a motor court than a hotel. They charge for parking even when you stay at the hotel. Breakfast not included, they did have coffee in the lobby. Cheap old plastic chairs outside the rooms. Definitely Needs updating. Flower boxes only have dirt and cigarette butts in them. It is close to the downtown plaza, which is a plus. A very good pizza place right up the street with live music.

Middle of Historic District!

Posted Jun 23, 2017
Pros: This is an old-fashioned type motel. Very clean, comfy, and safe location.
Cons: Need new pillows for bed, a small fridge in room would be a plus as well.
Parked car and never moved it! Walking distance to Canyon Rd. Art District, Historic District, and corner grocery.

Pros: Great location.
Cons: Front desk staff was polite enough. Housekeeping didn't seem interested in answering questions.
Older hotel, in a great location. There seems to be little effort made to bring it into the present.

help was friendly. 8 dollars for parking was unexpected, rooms were old and not real clean

First room was pretty dirty and had a fan that made a consistent irritating noise. Luckily staff was able to accommodate a room change. Overall the quality of the hotel was not good for how much you pay but you are paying that much to be downtown. Don't believe any of the pictures you see.
