“An absolute gem of a hotel. Staff are superb, the grounds are fantastic and the food is amazing. The breakfast is top tier with incredible homemade chutneys and various fruits soaked in delicious syrups along with freshly made hot food. We had dinner at the restaurant - proper, high quality ingredients - genuine quality. It also has an extensive wine selection (definitely not the normal bland wine lists you normally find). “Rooms were clean, but noisy, the windows did not open fully, and it was hot inside, and the hotel did not have A/C in rooms. Only given two bath towels. Bed was comfortable, but pillows flimsy. Great bar and pub, good for dinner, but breakfast was so so. The staff was okay”
