“This was our second visit to Maui, so we wanted to try something different; we chose something upcountry instead of on the beach this time. We will likely go back to the beach for future visits, because we really didn’t enjoy having to drive all the way back and change after spending time on the beach. That said, the property was not a bad choice. Our stay was pleasant, with the exception of a random leak that happened in the unit’s restroom. Also, the patio could have been a little cleaner. We……

“My son and I absolutely loved this place. It was adorable and had everything we needed. The gardens were amazing, animals so much fun and the view........ The only bad thing was we only booked one night. Given you are in the middle of the Hana Highway - which is incredible with all its waterfalls, beaches, and hikes - it is a good stop so you don't have to travel too far to take in all the HH has to offer. If I am ever on Maui again I will definitely go back.”

“Great stay, perfect location. Research locations to eat before you arrive. Really enjoyed the overall atmosphere of Hana, the people were amazing, and the overall stay was good. Please remember there is no air-conditioning, Wish communication from host was better.”

“Place smelled musty. Fan on kitchen wall was so dirty. Some kitchen cabinets wouldn’t close while another couldn’t open unless you opened refrigerator. However, the view was beautiful.”

“The room is clean and the check-in instructions are pretty clear. The location is right off the route to Hana. The Google map did lead us to the wrong small side street; and since we are aware that possibility, we just U-turn back out and get back to the right street. We were there a bit there early and the room is not ready so we went to a near by sushi restaurant and had lunch. Perfect timing.”

“Great location near Paia shops and short walk to Mama's Fish House, & beach. Enjoyed our stay at Kuau Plaza. The condo was just as described and pictured. Nicely furnished & decorated. Comfy bed, everything you could need in the kitchen, nice bathroom...all looked brand new! Although right next to the road, we barely heard the traffic. We would stay here again.”
