“The cabin was adorable and very clean. The views are amazing. We had beautiful sunsets and welcoming sunrises. The hot tub was so relaxing. We had great communication from Kari and felt very welcome. She added to our excitement. The weekend was so very relaxing and exactly what we needed after the busy holidays. We hope to go back to enjoy the other seasons. We would highly recommend this adorable cabin.”

“Refrigerator in kitchen would not stay cold, spoiled food and milk soured over night. Lady bugs overwmed the inside of the house. Ceiling fan in living room has a short and light blinks all the time. Ceiling fan in pool table room would not come on. Most vacuums did not work or had broken plugs. Algae build up on rug by pool and hot tub was very slippery. Both coffee pots would not stay hot. General maintenance outside could definitely be improved kind of dirty and unappealing. “We had an amazing, peaceful, and private stay—just what we wanted! The location was great and very close to everything decorah has to offer! The fall colors were beautiful and definitely showing off for us. We ended up using the air mattress to sleep on and that worked out really well for us as the back of the futon wasn’t very comfortable, but great for sitting! We were never able to find the trails that led down to the bottom of the Quarry, but that’s ok. We didn’t need to talk to the owners……

“Cabin was cozy, especially with a fire going.We had a great view of the stars and a meteor shower at night. Local recommendations for sights, food, gas, firewood, etc were spot on. Some of the cutlery/ utensils weren't completely clean (maybe from the previous guest) but we clean before using regardless. ”

“The place was very dirty, overpriced for the amount of things we had to bring ourselves (sheets & pillowcases for the beds) hot tub was nice until it turned green & had low water flow. I messaged the host and was responded to with “well if you would’ve told me earlier I could have had someone come fix it”. ”
