The staff at the check in was very unhelpful. There were regular loud parties at the rooftop bar (which seemed off limits to guests) and a lot of noise which made getting a good night's sleep tough. Room was tiny and bed was very uncomfortable. We had to leave to go to another hotel just to get some real sleep. The positives were the location and the cleaning staff for our room.

Beautiful hotel with great history! The location in Casco Viejo was perfect for our visit to Panama City and we were easily able to walk or order a car/Uber from there for various trips. We had a family suite, which was a king and full size bed room that worked well for our family of 3. The rooftop pool is small, but lovely and the restaurant near the pool was great with friendly staff. The Central Hotel is a gorgeous place and the staff at the front desk, door and restaurants were all nice and helpful.

The whole staff was extremely helpful.

In the bathroom, the shower tiles and glass door had green mold, the headboard had strange white stains, and the curtains were very dusty. The staff was very friendly and provided excellent service. However, I have other complaints regarding the bathroom and room.
