You’ll be captivated by the magnificent open-plan living room the moment you step inside. Double-height ceilings with exposed beams and a dramatic stacked-stone fireplace pair perfectly with rustic wood paneling and thoughtful decorative accents to create a space both cozy and elegant. 



Oversized windows fill the room with natural light, and doors leading to the outdoor spaces invite a refreshing breeze to flow through on those warm Georgia days. When day turns to night, light the wood-burning fireplace, grab a spot on the leather sofa or plush armchairs, and enjoy a fun evening watching TV, playing games, or simply spending quality time with friends and family.  



A separate laundry room contains a washer and dryer to keep your hiking gear clean… no matter how much muddy adventuring you do!







The spacious kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances, including a double oven, a white subway-tile backsplash, a deep farmhouse-style sink, and enough space onat the island for multiple chefs and sous chefs! You’ll find everything you need whether you’re preparing a gourmet meal or a simple snack. And perhaps most important of all, the coffee maker ensures every morning gets off to the best possible start. 



When it’s time to savor your culinary creations, head over to the rustic wood table, which comfortably seats six. The overhead lighting crafted from glass and antlers illuminates the space so you can drink, dine, and chat late into the night.



The large marble-topped island provides a casual dining space for four guests to enjoy breakfasts, light snacks, or an afternoon charcuterie board with a glass of wine.







The inviting primary suite is generously sized and the perfect setting for deep rest and relaxation. You’ll love sinking into the sumptuous king-size bed with a striking live-edge headboard each night. The addition of a flatscreen is ideal for streaming an episode of your current TV obsession before settling in for a great night’s sleep. 



The walk-in closet means there’s plenty of space for all your clothes, plus additional storage in the antique-style chest of drawers. This suite’s en-suite bathroom has a stunning walk-in shower with river rock and the dual mirrored vanity provides plenty of space to get ready for the day ahead.



The second bedroom features beautifully restored antique furnishings, including a  luxurious queen-size bed, vanity, and tall dresser. The third bedroom offers two cozy twin beds, perfect for the kids with whimsical touches. Both rooms have ample closet space concealed behind stylish sliding barn doors and bedside lamps for journalling or reading a couple of chapters before drifting off into a serene slumber. Flatscreen TVs in each room are the perfect finishing touch for late-night movies and slow mornings streaming your favorite shows.



These two bedrooms share a full bathroom, complete with an oversized single vanity and tub/shower with subway tile and river rock. 







Two outdoor decks give your group a private, tranquil place to enjoy the surrounding nature in peace. On one side of the property, you’ll find a BBQ that’s ready for your group’s grill master to cook up a storm, plus a hot tub where you’ll spend long, relaxing hours soaking tired post-hike muscles. The hammock is our favorite place for an afternoon nap, scroll socials, or get lost in a great book with nothing but the sound of the surrounding trees rustling in the breeze to distract you.



On the other side of the house, you’ll find the second deck, which has a large dining table for al fresco feasts. The comfy sofa is the ideal spot to enjoy your morning coffee in the great outdoors, and the firepit with Adirondack chairs is where you’ll enjoy lively conversations with your fellow guests as the sun sets behind the trees.

Liberty Lookout II is nestled in the serene town of Ellijay, GA. This area is a hikers’ paradise, and there are endless trails to explore. Challenge yourself to a section of the famed Appalachian Trail on Springer Mountain, or opt for a family-friendly route along the Tumbling Waters Trail. Horseback riding is also a popular pursuit here in Ellijay, and there are several local establishments offering adventures to first-timers and experienced riders alike.



Ellijay is known as Georgia’s apple capital, and apple picking is available seasonally. There’s nothing like selecting your own fresh fruit to enjoy as a healthy snack or as the filling of a home-baked pie. Apples aren’t the only fruit on offer in Ellijay — we’re also famous for the grapes that we use to produce some of the best wines in the state. No trip is complete without a vineyard visit to taste a few varietals (and pick up a bottle or two to enjoy on the cabin’s deck).



Once you’ve worked up an appetite, you’ll love exploring the city’s vibrant food scene. Whether you’re in the mood for a juicy burger, fiery Mexican food, or a fine dining experience, you’ll have no trouble satisfying your appetite. If you prefer to prepare your meals in the cabin’s well-equipped kitchen, you’ll find all the ingredients and fresh produce you could ever need in Ellijay’s markets and grocery stores.



 



DOGS ONLY Guests are responsible for any damages that result from pets. No pets on furniture or in hot tub. Any delays in housekeeping because of pet hair on furniture, Guests agree to pay an additional housekeeping fee of a minimum of $25 with a maximum of $250.00 . Any pet hair found in hot tub or filter will result in a minimum charge of $100. This fee is non refundable.

All of our cabin rentals are fully furnished and include a minimum of the following unless otherwise stated in the listing:







Fully equipped kitchen: Refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, utensils, cutlery, pots, and pans. Linens for each bed, 2-bath towels, 1-hand towel, 1-washcloth per person listed on guest list, dresser or closet for clothing storage, central heat & air, washer/dryer, vacuum and/or broom and dust pan, mop, internet, and propane gas grill. In addition we provide a complimentary start-up supplies of: Toilet Tissue (1 roll per bathroom), 1- roll paper towels, 4- kitchen garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, dishwashing liquid and laundry detergent for at least 2 loads. Many of our cabins include more that this basic list of inventory items. The only items you'll need to bring will be food, beverages, and condiments.



Required Fees include $165 Cleaning fee, $65 Damage Protection Waiver, processing fee, guest service fee, and a 15% lodging tax
