“We had a a wonderful 4day stay! Beautiful, spaceful, clean and well equipped house with giant glass windows all over the oceanfront wall. Community is very safe. Stunning views over Pacific. The kitchen is well equipped and we preferred to cook at home. Communication with the manager was super easy via whatsapp. Thank you, we will defnitely come back!”

“We stayed in a double bed room with a view to the beach. We loved our stay there. The staff was amazing. The food was so delicious. The breakfast buffet included with the stay had so much variety and if you didn’t find something all you needed to do is ask and if they could they would accommodate your request. We really enjoyed our stay at Balandra and we will continue to stay in Balandra when we visit Manta. ”

“The rooms are clean and comfortable; Wi-Fi worked well and there was hot water in the shower. I had prepaid with Expedia, but I was asked to pay again in cash at check-in. With my limited Spanish I was able to show my receipt and that was sufficient. The key fob is huge; the idea being that you will hand in your key if you leave the property rather than take it with you. That way they can control access to who is coming and going. It was a nice one night stay. ”

“I loved every second of my stay. The host was so kind.she invited me for a walk and showed me the park at night and the next day she came with me to Pile to look at the production of the Panama hat. I was serves a wonderful breakfast and a great lunch. The Hotel is very clean and comfortable.”

“Nice clean, pretty property with pool, good sized room. Was pleasantly surprised that maid service was included daily. Pillows on bed were awesome which is unusual in Ecuador. Only area for improvement of room would be in the bathroom; there is NO hot water for shower and a bath mat would be nice for the slippery tile floor. A towel is provided but not a washcloth. Since I arrived in the evening I asked where I could walk to get dinner. I was advised it wasn’t safe in the area for a gringo girl……
