“My friend and I recently enjoyed a wonderful vacation in France, staying at several different rental properties—and Phillipe’s place in Avignon was by far our favorite.From the moment we arrived, Phillipe welcomed us warmly and made us feel right at home. The apartment was even more beautiful than the photos, and it was immediately clear that we had arrived somewhere special. “The apartment is very centrally located but a little removed from the main streets so it's quite quiet. It is bright and spacious and great for a short stay. There are 2 flights of stairs to get to the apartment so best if you do not have a lot of luggage.”

“The apartment is beautifully restored in a historic building, in the dead center of the walled city (old town) of Avignon, within 3 minute walk to the Papal Palace. There is an incredible view into a landmark basilica from one bedroom. Some precarious stairs to the second floor (3rd level from the ground). The communication with the host and instructions on basic issues like check-in and WiFi could have been a bit more streamlined. Overall good find.”
