"This was the start of our trip. My father traced his ancestors back to the area and wanted to see it and see if he could learn any more information. The house was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. We only spent the first two days of our trip here, and we all agreed we could have spent more. We hope to travel back another time from the USA and have a little more time to check things out. When the time comes, we’d love to stay here again."

"Wir haben die Zeit in Ditzum sehr genossen. Es ist zwar recht abseits gelegen, wenn man viel erleben möchte, aber da wir das vorher wussten und uns erholen wollten, war das Haus perfekt geeignet. Es war sehr sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet, es war alles vorhanden, was man benötigt. An verregneten Tagen wird es auch nicht langweilig, es sind Spiele und Bücher im Haus vorhanden, man kann sogar Darts spielen. Zu Fuß ist man in 10 Minuten in Ditzum am Hafen, auch einkaufen kann man zu Fuß...

"Ein wunderschönes Haus zum wohl fühlen! Der Empfang war sehr nett und wurde mit selbstgemachter Marmelade noch versüßt :-) (Dankeschön nochmal) 3 Generationen und ein Hund unter einem Dach (5 Erwachsene und 4 Teenager) und jeder hatte genug Platz und konnte sich auch mal zurückziehen. Es wurde viel gelacht, gegessen, im Garten gechillt ( wenn der Regen mal eine Pause gemacht hat), gespielt und geschlafen :-) Ein sehr gelungener Urlaub - vielen Dank, liebe Familie Drewenz"

"If you find yourself in Papenburg this is a great spot. Excellent bar and restaurant and the rooms are absolutely fine. 4 minutes walk from train station if that’s how you’re arriving. They can also organise taxis to take you on afterwards but make sure you have cash for those. Will definitely stay again when I’m in papenburg"
