“Such a beautiful view with a very island feel to the property. Host was very much able to be contacted if needed, property was very neat, clean and organized. The host left ample notes behind on things to do around the island as well. Highly recommend staying with this host on his property!”

“We extended our stay by 2 nights and needed a place to stay. The Mermaid worked out fine for us (could use a new mattress) and the view was amazing! The owner was great and very easy to work with and replied to us right away. We did not enjoy the ride to get up there, but we were warned about it in the description. You do need an SUV to travel up there. Thanks for the stay!”

“Great experience, quick responses, easy directions. The Everyone was very friendly and helpful. We loved sitting at the beach at night and used the hot tub twice in the evenings. The fact it was open after 10pm was awesome. Accommodations in the room were exactly what we needed. The only issue was the a/c wasn’t working well, however we were not in the room enough to need it. At night we just opened the sliding door and turned on the fan. Stores were close by, lots of beautiful beaches all……

“Very out of the way remote stay, extremely small accommodations, the bed is a converted couch, although clean, air conditioning keeps the room a little cool, the road in is not for the faint hearted, not easy to say the least, property is very old, bathroom light is a pull chain, property says breakfast included, that means you get cereal and milk in your refrigerator, not a sit down meal like all other places! “stayed 11 days Feb '26. This is a condo complex. Upon arrival the complex appears dated/tired and the grass was tall. A crew did show to get the landscaping back into shape. Located off a main road and centrally located. Can get to most parts of the island within a 35 minute drive. 5 minutes down the street is a grocery store, another 5 minutes to popular La Reine Chicken Shack.
