Clean and lovely looking hotel. Pillows were way too thick and bulky so both of us woke up with a neck ache. Breakfast was not as expected, all hot items were cold, and the continental part was a bit lackluster. We were at breakfast around 9:30, so still an hour and half left of service.

The hotel is very modern and clean, also eco friendly with good parking. For me the room was warm and the duvet was very thick. I did not sleep too well because I was warm despite having the window open. The bathroom had shampoo/body wash but no hair conditioner and no heated towel rail. No where to hang damp towls to dry. The cooked breakfast was very poor quality and luke warm at best. A nice hotel but because of the very thick duvet, no aircon to offset and a poor breakfast, results in an average score from me.

New hotel in Exeter, convenient location for stopping over on the way to Cornwall. EV chargers in the car park are operated by Believ, which come with a standing surcharge, so be careful about leaving the car plugged in overnight as it can get expensive. It’s 20p per minute for the 11kw charger and over £1 per minute for the 150kw chargers. The room was new and felt it. I stayed in a premium room, not too spacious but comfortable enough. The bathroom was brand new and in good condition. The hotel is located in a business park, with no free parking, so you must factor in the mandatory £15 per night charge. There’s no way to avoid this. No coffee machines or bottled water in the room, but water dispensers and tea or coffee stations on each floor were fine. I booked a family room and asked to add parking and breakfast. Online it showed £64, but the hotel quoted £100 instead. IHG confirmed the hotel manager could adjust it, yet staff hid behind “third-party booking” excuses. Instead of applying simple discretion and putting the guest first, they asked me to cancel and rebook, risking my reservation, all over what was effectively a small system change. Poor communication and a rigid “computer says no” attitude, not what I expect from IHG. Sales Operations, Operations staff, and FOH did not handle the issue well. The staff on arrival were pleasant, especially Miah. The bathroom and room were new, and I had a good night’s sleep. There’s no air con, just airflow from window.

I stayed with my husband and dog as we were visiting our daughter who lives in the area so we didn't have breakfast or drinks. Hotel was very clean and very eco friendly. The parking was incredibly full when we returned after a dinner in town but we did find the last spot and they sign posted for the overflow car park - luckily didn't need it.

Large modern hotel, well appointed and stocked, like most major cgain exoensive to eat and drink. Large car park although chargeable. Located on outskirts of Exeter some 20 mins outside the city centre.
