“It’s a very tranquil spot. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect location for our needs. The view from our cabin was spectacular, wonderful sunsets. The Retreat is Family oriented, and every cabin area is private, with a delightful community area if you so choose, we only had bikes as our mode of transport but everything is close by, our bikes were even dropped off and picked up via a nearby vendor. Our hosts were delightful and very responsive, especially as we arrived / and left……

“Schon die Begrüßung durch die Eigentümerin Fiona war sehr herzlich. Wir fanden alles vor, um einen ersten englischen Nachmittagstee zu genießen. Unser Ferienhaus (Reihenhaus) mit 3 Schlafzimmern und 2 Bädern war gut für 6 Personen ausgestattet und alles war in einem guten Zustand. Die Anlage ist ruhig gelegen. Morgens und abends hörte man je nach Windrichtung zwar die startenden und landenden Flugzeuge, aber so übermäßig viele sind das nicht, das stört also nicht wirklich.

“We had an excellent peaceful break in a brilliantly designed cabin that had everything we needed. The beach is only a few minutes walk away from the property but there are bus stops close by if needed. Susie & Paul are very welcoming & friendly hosts. Hope to return again another year. “We wanted a restful 2 week holiday which is what we got. The kitchen equipment was simple to use, with Guernsey butter, guernsey gache and milk to get us settled. We had a mid stay clean and change of sheets and towels which was very nice. The number 11 bus stops right outside to go to town if a break is needed from the narrow roads, and it is inexpensive. A Morrisons is also round the corner. There was plenty to do for 2 weeks with coastal walks and pretty scenery, interesting museums and……

“This was the perfect little apartment for the two of us for our four day stay in the Saint Andrew area of Guernsey Island. We had everything we needed and looked forward to coming back to the apartment each day after a busy day of sightseeing. The owner, Michele, was very accommodating and showed us around the day we arrived. She left us fruit to enjoy and told us where we could go for more groceries.”
