“It was a unique and cozy property, within walking distance of shops and restaurants. There was a lot of street noise at night but it was also when the fair was going on.”
“The place just felt Alaskan, and the food is fantastic. The rooms aren't fancy, but they're solid, and very clean and quiet.
I recommend the 2nd floor for the view over lake Wasilla.
I will be staying there again.”
“Read the other reviews on this property and set your expectations. It’s a budget friendly option. Looking for a hot shower, flushing toilet and a bed - you’ve got it. Rooms are upstairs from the bar so you’ll hear the music until 10 PM. Not an issue if you’re in the bar which has a very cool vibe to include the play lists. There’s a separate restaurant section for non-drinkers.Good surveillance - door locks are dated but functional. The staff is warm, friendly and certainly add to the magic.”

No lobby attendant, had to use a phone to check in. And no elevator to third floor, so be prepared to lug suitcases up stairs if on 3rd floor. ”
“Very clean and nice lodging. Owners were great at communicating. Perfect base camp for anyone wanting to explore the valley and glacier. Only criticism would be that the tv in bedroom was not functioning. Not a big deal, would definitely stay again. ”
