However the house was stunning and the room was beautiful and comfortable. We were very tired and were happy to be able to recharge. "This is a very basic hotel next door to a casino and leisure center near Jonzac town. 3 nights here was a long time for how little there is to do, but we were only in the area for proximity to a wedding venue in La Canonerie. This should not be advertised as 4*, the exterior is very run down, our apartment room overlooked the carpark, the balconies are run down, no basic amenities in the room like a hairdryer or iron, no cooked breakfast options just a very simple buffet in the hotel lobby, no restaurant or bar for lunch or dinner, no swimming pool, 1 thin pillow per person in bed, you have to put your own bin liners inside the bins and also dispose of them yourself opposite the carpark. These are not what I’d expect for 4 star accomodation. You can walk into Jonzac town within 15-20 minutes. As an area it is very hard to get taxis so these must be pre booked at least 24hrs in advance."
