Our family rented 2 "Studio Pool" units, in adjacent buildings, one on the first floor and one on the 2nd floor. Both units were conveniently equipped with refrigerator, stove, microwave, coffee maker and had A/C. La Costa offered 3 nice pools, a sauna, Jacuzzi with a barbecue grill and easy & short walking access to the beach, about 150-200 feet. The front office was accommodating too, allowing me to leave my luggage in their front office due to insufficient room in our vehicle while I dropped my family off at the airport and came back hours later to pick up my luggage. The property was clean, safe and secured through a programmable wristband we each had. However, the "Studio Pool" units were small, especially the 1st floor unit, which did not have much square footage. The toilet in the bathroom had a pocket door and no leg room space, as it was squeezed in between the vanity and the wall. While our 2nd floor unit seemed to be recently updated and had more square footage, a wall between the family room and the bedroom, again the bathroom was very tight with a tight/narrow space in the shower and no vanity space for bathroom items/personal hygiene, except on the counter. Also, there is no elevator to go up to the 2nd floor on this building, a problem/challenge for those with lots of luggage, the elderly or anyone with a disability.
