“Everything was awesome except there is no stove only a grill outside to cook on”

“It was what I wanted a different experience! The set up was cool and different! Would I go again? At half the price yes! The view and property did not justify the cost. However everything was as advertised! Nothing stood out as bad!”

“We had a wonderful stay! The location was perfect for a quiet getaway in the county - peaceful, relaxing and still only about 15 minutes from town. Our Bulldog especially appreciated how the 4th of July fireworks were muted at this distance, making it a completely stress-free holiday for her. The cabin itself was fantastic! It was fully stocked with everything you could need … and then some. You can really tell the hosts put thought into making guests comfortable. Communication was also……

“Such a unique experience being able to stay in a Conestoga wagon and walking up to have your morning coffee with the sheep or pony! The animals are so friendly, especially if you share vegetables or the treats from the office. Elaine is wonderful and very hospitable. Highly recommend a stay and supporting their mission.”

“We had an amazing stay! The property was very comfortable and exceptionally clean. We really appreciated the fenced area, which kept our dogs safe and secure while we enjoyed our time there.Having the horses and cows nearby made the experience even more special, and it was such a thoughtful touch that treats were provided so we could feed the horses. It truly added to the charm of the stay.Overall, this was a wonderful getaway, and we will definitely be coming back. Highly recommend!”

“We had the most wonderful two-night stay at Rooterville, with the most peaceful sleep. Beds were super comfortable, waking up to the sheep grazing right outside our room was so sweet and feeding the animals while they followed us around the farm was so much fun! Turkeys who let you “hug” them, friendly pigs, sheep, cows and mini horses. Amazing experience, we will be back soon!”
