We've been enjoying the cottage so much that we kept it as our own seasonal retreat for the last year. We now invite you to enjoy our slice of paradise once again!

Absolutely the best location in Salt Springs Resort with gorgeous views and breeze from Little Lake Kerr! Cottage #21 is one of the few cottages available for rent from which you can watch the sunset over beautiful Lake Kerr every night directly from the front patio.

This beautiful 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage is nestled under the oak trees and adjacent to Little Lake Kerr. Bring your boat; there's plenty of parking and a boat ramp on site. Enjoy access to shared resort amenities including pool, hot tub, game room, volleyball, pickleball, corn hole, horseshoes, shuffleboard, fire pit and more! From this cottage, you'll be 100 steps to the pool and waterfront with resort activities.

Walk to Dollar General, post office, the Square Meal for breakfast or lunch, Salt Springs Pizza, bait & tackle store, post office, hair salon and laundromat. Other nearby restaurant choices Pop's Southern Buffet, The Grill Out, Odd Todds & Cactus Jacks are a few minutes drive away and of course - explore the local springs! Salt Springs is across the street, as is the Salt Springs Marina where you can launch your boat into the run that brings you to the St. John's River. Juniper, Silver Glen, Silver Springs and Alexander Springs are all within a short drive. Bring your beach towels/chairs and snorkel masks from home and spend a few hours at each spring. No two are alike. Like hiking? Bass fishing? Dirt biking, 4x4'ing (trails begin across the street!) Spectacular sunsets? It's all here!

The cottage is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath with a screened in porch, approximately 720 sqft.
Sleeps 4 comfortably (1 queen bed, 1 double bed), but please inquire if you have more than 4 guests. Ample parking for 2 vehicles including a boat/trailer. Note that Salt Springs Resort charges a one time check-in fee per vehicle of $10, max of $20. We do charge a one time cleaning fee of $50. For long-term monthly winter renters, additional cleanings are available upon request.

Cottage contains kitchenware for cooking, stove/oven, toaster, coffee maker, microwave, blender, outdoor BBQ, pots & pans. Outdoor picnic table. Cable TV & excellent internet in the unit.

Note: Reviews from 2021 & prior relating to issues of uncomfortable beds, oven and toilet not working have been resolved. We have replaced the beds, toilet and purchased new furniture, thus no pets are allowed. We appreciate guests who are respectful and treat our home as your own.

Weekend at the Lake
Perfect little waterfront cabin. Clean and perfect location for a weekend on the lake. Beautiful view of little Lake Kerr out the front window and screened in porch to sit out and enjoy the view. We brought our golf cart and boat and had an awesome stay. Campground is clean and everyone is super friendly. Krista was very great in communicating and we are ready to book our next stay there.

An Amazing Slice of paradise
We loved our stay at this cabin. It has the best location with comfortable amenities that make you feel at home. We enjoyed the springs, the pool, the tennis courts but especially the privacy. Everyone was so nice. It was nice to let our kids (age 9 and 12) have some free time to walk around without fear of thier safety. There was so much to do. Thank you for the quality time we were able to enjoy. We will be back. Krista was readily available for any questions and a joy to work with on our trip.

This cottage worked well for family tasks we were tending to in Ocala and Silver Springs. The listing is accurate regarding the absence of a washer and dryer, as well as a dishwasher. Just a note to others looking at this property, none of these three appliances are available! We have grown so accustomed to them being present that I missed their absence when arranging this rental. We did use the laundromat near the cottage, but it's not the same as one on site! And dishes are not a big deal with a small group, but something to consider if you have a larger crowd! The cottage is comfortable and well equipped overall. Excellent communication with the owner.

We enjoyed our stay at Salt Springs very much. We have a friends/family annual trip and we were lucky enough to book this cabin right next door to family. It was the perfect location - right across from the lake and pool. The cabin is very clean, updated, and welcoming. It’s very roomy! The screen porch is so nice to sit in the mornings and at sunset. Perfect view! We can’t wait to book this cabin again for next year’s trip!

Perfect weekend getaway. Close to the springs!
I’m here to say we had a GREAT time here! The check in process is easy. The nice man at the front made it a breeze. The cottage is probably one of the best properties in this place. Walking distance to the pool which my kids (5 & 2) loved! The water front spot has a beautiful lakeside view. Everyone we met was super friendly. We enjoyed snorkeling in the salt springs which are right down the road from salt springs resort! We enjoyed a yummy dinner at salt springs pizza! This is a must if you stay here. My kids haven’t stopped talking about this trip since. The host was always a phone call or text away. We plan on coming back for longer one day and bringing the boat along. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves here. The cottage was very cute & exactly what we were looking for.

We had a great weekend at this cottage, just a few things that might need some attention. The front door deadbolt is apparently in backwards and we repeatedly had issues trying to get it to unlock. We had four adults, one 13 year old and one 20 month old, definitely not enough towels for a three day stay and the mattresses are horribly uncomfortable including the sofa sleeper.

Positives Little Lake Kerr provided great views of the lake and sunsets 🌇 Dog friendly park and beach area were so nice for our pets. Rv Park has many beautiful and well maintained properties that were nice to "walk about" while experiencing residents garden area too. Awesome Salt Springs and Sliver Glen Springs are so close. Dollar tree store is convenient place providing quick access to basic grocery needs. Okay somewhat not so positive..intitial "check in" at the gate...not very friendly 🙄 or giving information about gate entrance after hours and did not provide a map to our cabin location. Cabin was location was awesome but beds were little uncomfortable and dishes were chipped. Needed a little more TLC to express a inciting cabin experience.
