Franeker is a interesting litte town with a rich history. "downtown" you will find the the world's oldest functioning planetarium. It was build by Eise Eisinga in his living room, partly to prove the end of the world was not near at all. We used the spacious accommodation as a base for cycling and were not disappointed. The hosts were kind and considerate. Home-produce was available from this small-holding."

"Der Mailverkehr und der Check-In liefen unkompliziert. Das Haus war sauber und gut ausgestattet. Besonders haben wir uns über den komplett eingezäunten Garten und die Fliegengitter an allen Fenstern gefreut. Nur die Matratzen waren sehr sehr weich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. "

Kleine Parzelle mit terrasse und sehr kleinem steingarten.Ich denke, der Eigentümer bereitet die Unterkunft selbst vor und lebt sich hier handwerklich aus. Zum schlafen passt es völlig, sonst sind alle Grundsachen da die man braucht.
