“Our stay was perfect! We spent a week at the hotel and, if it had been up to us, we would definitely have stayed longer. The hotel is brand new, modern, and beautifully designed. For us, it is the most beautiful hotel in Kaprun. The staff were incredibly friendly and always made time for a nice chat. We felt very welcome from the moment we arrived. “Definitely not worth the money. Beds were really hard and uncomfortable. Very dated hotel. Our room was very old fashioned! Tv didnt even work. There was a connecting door to next door room, and a kid tried opening the door all night and kept waking us up! Roof top bar is a gimmick. Self service rubbish with rubbish drinks via a vending machine. Parking is 1 street away, so it is a headache if you forget something in the car. 20euro for parking for 1 day, which is fine, but we wernt put in the……

“Great location. Great breakfast. At check out I was told that I owed an additional city travel pass I was supposedly given at check in. If I was given the pass I was never informed. And if I was given something, I should have never been charged.”

“My husband and 2 daughters stayed for 7 nights at the Gastof Eiserne Hand while visiting the area to ski and watch the Free Ride World Tour event. They had the most amazing hospitality from Markus and Micel and stated "it was the best place we have ever stayed". The beds were comfortable, the location beautiful, the breakfast delicous and the after dinner schnaps very much enjoyed. Some upgrades would be appreciated like newer TVs with smart cast. Be careful in the shower, it's only a pane of glass and it's easy to get water everywhere. “Originally, I preferred a hotel right by the lake but i gave up finding that there was a railway nearby. That is why i picked this hotel and i felt I chose wisely. The hotel is located in a quiet neighborhood with its own parking space and a very short walk to downtown area. The room is of comfortable size and very clean; one can book a room with a lake view, too. The staff we came across are very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our two night stay here and will definitely recommend this hotel.”
