La Closerie Des Arts - Chalet Edelweiss

Set in a charming, fully restored 18th-century stone farmhouse with 200 m² of comfortable living space, La Closerie des Arts welcomes you to the northern part of the Périgord Noir, in the commune of Gabillou. You’ll find two bedrooms, or alternatively a studio and a chalet in the spirit of a traditional Dordogne-style gîte, spread across 3 hectares of land with meadows, hills, and forest. The estate is located just 9 km (about a 10-minute drive) from the town of Thenon, where all shops and services are available.

A true invitation to disconnect from daily life, Chalet Edelweiss is the ideal accommodation for families with children or travelers seeking authenticity. Nestled in a peaceful setting, it charms guests with its unique character, panoramic views, and warm ambiance.

With a surface area of 39 m², it comfortably accommodates up to 4 guests, making it perfect for an extended stay. It features a master bedroom with a Queen-size bed (160 x 200 cm), and a double sofa bed (140 x 190 cm) in the living room, suitable for two children or an additional couple.

The panoramic veranda—a bright, open living space—offers breathtaking views over the surrounding green hills, providing an enchanting backdrop for family breakfasts, peaceful reading moments, or sunset dinners.

To complete your outdoor experience, a private barbecue is also available—perfect for enjoying simple and convivial moments in total freedom.

The Chalet includes:

-One master bedroom
-One double sofa bed in the living room
- A private bathroom with toilet, sink, and shower
-A kitchenette with sink, stovetop, refrigerator, table and chairs
-A fully furnished communal area
-Electric heating for the winter season
