“The Gut Stiluppe just finished its renovation, and while the new parts look stunning, the upgrade has yet to proliferate to all parts of the place activity. Specifically, it feels the kitchen needs to really improve - morning eggs arrived at odd shapes (like scrambled eggs that weren’t scrambled before fried), and coffee with regular milk after we explained of a lactose intolerance. I think it will take a bit more time until the service gets to the level of facilities.”

“I'd like to point out that the room was clean and spacious (there were four of us). The breakfast was delicious, and they could make you an omelet or scrambled eggs upon request. Parking was also easy. But I especially want to point out that the hotel owners managed to create a truly homey atmosphere, and when I returned to my room, I felt like I was "coming home"! “The 4 course evening meal was excellent; tasty, inventive and beautifully presented. The room was large and from the balcony one could hear cowbells in the evening and a rooster in the morning. And one can walk a short distance and board the gondola to the top of the mountain. ”

“Wow, we stayed in the glass house on the 7th floor (superior room) and what an experience. The view was stunning, room spacious with lovely comfy bed. We didn’t use the spa but were able to see it and we will definitely come again to use the spa too, it is not classed as wellness hotel but has so much better spa than any other spa hotel I have seen. Only open few hours in evening though. Breakfast was lovely and the lady at the reception was so helpful. I booked the room last minute as……
