Perfect Galena Experience

The house was perfect for my fiancee and I - clean, kitchen was well equipped. The location was perfect for us - a bit outside of the crowded Galena area, but a short drive away from everything.

Great weekend in Galena

Had a very nice stay at this 2 bedroom house. Photos pretty much says it all, nice little house. Great location, great neighborhood, beds were good. If you stay during the spring or winter months bring wood, the wood they had for us was wet and hard to start a fire with. Overall had a very good time and would stay at this location again.

Girls retreat

My daughters and friends had a great weekend stay. I t was a girls escape. Two educators and three nurses. Thank you, they had a nice time in Galena.

Great Cottage

Our family had a wonderful time at this property. Cottage has everything we needed and owners were very responsive. Owners club had a really nice pool and tennis courts. Not crowded at all. A small tidbit, boat rentals are half price during the week! Loved that and was able to take a pontoon boat out a few times for fishing. Overall, a really great stay and look forward to going back in the future.

Cute place…didn’t like carpet in living room as it was quite stained and dirty…upstairs bathroom light only had one light lite and was hard to apply makeup….need to get somebody to keep up with weeds in flowers. Had a fun time!

Roomies reunion

Convenient, easy, wonderful! 4 college roomies had a reunion. Everything was perfect! When we had an internet issue, someone came to fix it and we had no more problems! Thanks! We will come again!

Love the location!

Home was cozy and clean. We only made a frozen pizza one night, but there was every kitchen utensil and appliance you could think of ready for you. Would be an excellent kitchen for someone, like me who likes to occasional make homemade meals while on vacation. Home is not far from downtown galena. Loved the access to the owners club amenities! Was able to take my girl swimming & the water in the indoor pool was warmer than I expected. Great home away from home. We’d definitely stay again!

Last minute getaway

Overall stay was great. Love the settlement homes. Property manager was great. But I have to agree with another review that the place could be a little cleaner. Spider webs and dead bugs behind doors, mold on the bottomOf the shower curtains, someone please vacuum behind the head of the beds…..had to stare at it for a while and still not sure what that is. And the towels need to be replaced, they would be perfect for drying a car after a wash.

This little place is gem! We had an amazing time staying in the cabin, everything was right there that we needed. It’s a place that could use a little bug protection inside, or is it just part of the natural preserve? :) Other then that, I would highly recommend this place to anyone. 2 small kids and 2 adults and plenty of space for all of us.

Weekend in Galena

It was a wonderful weekend getaway. The property was very nice and comfortable. Close proximity to downtown and everything it has to offer. This is our second visit and there will be a third!

Very quiet and tranquil. Enjoyed owner's club amenities. House was ok, enough things to use throughout the house. House wasn't too clean. Spiders and spider webs in the bathroom downstairs. Most outlets didn't work. Bad cable signal, most channels didn't work.

Galena weekend

We enjoyed our stay - house was comfortable and it’s in a beautiful area. Just an FYI, the plug-in in the upstairs bathroom did not work, but we managed. Also, two ceiling lights in the kitchen and living room area were out. And it would have been nice to have a couple extra wash cloths in the bathrooms and a dish cloth in the kitchen. Other than these small things, it was great! So much better than staying in a hotel. Thanks for everything!

Octoberfest

This cottage was in a quiet little area just outside of Galena, and was perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. It had everything we needed. Hosts were polite and responsive to messages. Would rent again and recommend.
