My stay at La Beliza Resort was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite and our room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The pool area was quiet and relaxing, making it easy to enjoy the sun without feeling crowded like we did at other places on the island. There was some sargassum along the beach, but it was everywhere across Ambergris Caye and thanks to the staff working to clean it up every day, it didn’t take away from the overall experience. Our trip highlights were visiting Secret Beach and snorkeling at Hol Chan Marine Reserve and both are worth doing. The staff at the resort did a great job coordinating and organizing tours. Overall, a comfortable and relaxing place to stay.

10/10 experience! Not only was the resort beautiful the staff were attentive and friendly. Any need I had they went above and beyond to fulfill. The resort also was a 8 min drive from downtown San Ignacio which was very convenient. My cousin and I left sad to leave such a paradise. Highly recommend and hope to come back in the future!

We had the best time here. The hosts, Shanna and Kenny were great, super responsive and very helpful with planning things to do. Ernesto, one of the drivers was also fantastic and super helpful. The locals and neighbors around the house were very friendly. A grocery store was located near by and we were able to get most of what we needed to make our meals. Dee has a small bar next door and a small shop where you can get some basics. Dee was so friendly. A Howler Monkey troop came right onto the property one of the days and they were fun to watch. Another Howler Monkey troop spends most of its time across the street at Lloyd’s. Lloyd was happy to allow us on his property to check them out. The accommodations were great. There was a washer and dryer on site that worked well. We did not want to leave and we will definitely be back!

The property is beautiful, rooms are clean and the staff is nice.
