"I believe this hotel has had recent issues, and was closed for a while, Well, I can only congratulate the new owners for a fantastic job on the renovations. Some of the other buildings attached to the main hotel are possibly planned for future renovations, however this didn't spoil our stay in any way. The main block of the hotel has been completely overhauled. The reception area is very nice and welcoming, the reception staff member was lovely and we couldn't have had a better check in. Our room was bright, clean airy and very modern, new bathroom and fittings, very modern tv with casting availability. Usb sockets, and new furnishings all round, the bed was very comfortable, we didn't really have a view, but this wasn't an issue. Service in the bar and restaurant for breakfast was perfect, as was the breakfast itself, for £10 a head. Overall, a great stay, for a very reasonable price. "
