I love how the hotel is secluded on top of the mountain. It feels like you are entering Jurassic Park when you see the sign park vista over the top of the winding road up the hill. Yes some of the hotel is showing it’s dated in some areas but it’s charming and the round structure with glass elevators gives it that unique touch that other chain hotels don’t have. All in all the stay was very pleasant and I would stay there again.

I loved it...the ONLY thing was being surprised that it was on top of a hill--was not expecting it and had to step up my driving skills a bit (going down was more fun!) As a lifelong musician, I did notice that the piano in the lobby needs to be tuned---and maybe get a better piano player (he was struggling on a number of songs--just saying). Everything else was great and would definitely stay here again!

The property sits on top of the hill. It is serene and peaceful. Perfect place for a resort. The property is older and need a bit of TLC. The bathrooms are a bit small (toilet with shower area). Balcony needed cleaning. The beds were not as comfortable. The staff were exceptional. They were kind, helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.

Bathroom was dirty there was hair in the shower toilet was dirty and room just was not cleaned pillows were so flat overall nice are right up on the mountains but rooms need to be cleaned more . Pool was so dirty I did not let my kids swim there was hair bugs and garbage in the pool !

Great location with beautiful views of the Great Smoky Mountains. The lobby was large, clean and comfortable. The restaurant was convenient, the service was great, the food portions were large, and the prices were reasonable. The rooms were large but rather damp. The power generator below the rooms was rather noisy. The front desk staff was accessible and helpful. Our kids enjoyed the indoor pool.

Room was clean, quiet, and had a great mountain view. Breakfast is good, with plenty of options, and the room service was also good. Trollies every 30 minutes to bring you to downtown Gatlinburg for plenty of shopping, eating and entertainment. Hotel is literally right on the edge of the Nat'l Park. Observed black bears, and coyotes.

Great propery in the mountains with excellent views. If you're looking for a hotel that is walkable to the strip, this is not for you. The local trolly does a free pickup and dropoff every 30 minutes or so. Pool is nice and property is clean.
