“I used to love that hotel but the service and food quality dropped significantly. The rule for pool usage and allowed swimming suites changed and seemed that people use swimming pools wearing their regular clothes. Instead of fresh squeezes they offer packages juices that taste like plastic. In the whole hotel there was no US outlet adapter, all the room outlets don't work for US electric devices or electronic charges. The quality dropped significantly after management change. “This is not America. I’ve been to Egypt many times and have stayed at many different resorts, but charging $14–$20 USD for a beer and nearly $60 USD for a meal is simply unreasonable. Most resorts in Egypt offer a similar experience, so these prices are very difficult to justify. I would highly recommend Rixos reevaluate its food and beverage pricing. There is no reason I should be paying more for a drink or a meal in Egypt than I would for the same items back home in the United States. These……

“We just came back from a 4 day stay at Seven Seasons at the end of May 2024. El Alamein is an hour away from Alexandria, which wasn’t something we hadn’t fully realised until we got there. Also, it was not peak season so many things were not fully operating, like the Aqua Park. The apartment we stayed in was far away from the nearest pool so we needed to be driven there.
