Property is older but well maintained and clean. Beds were comfortable. Staff is friendly and helpful. Food absolutely delicious. Will be my new stopping spot for sure. Very reasonably priced.

This property is in need of some upgrades/updates! Lots of potential! Great location! Clean but the smell of cleaning products was very strong! When I booked the stay I thought the restaurant was open 24 hours! It is closed on Sunday and Monday so after traveling 10 hours we had to get back in the car and find a restaurant!

Carpet felt very dirty. The bedspread was dirty. The property was not willing to help us retrieve expensive head phones, telling us they don’t have mail service.

Staff were very friendly. Check in went very smooth. Room was very clean. Ate at the restaurant/ bar on site and the food was top notch. Had a live band playing while we were there. Enjoyed sitting by the lake and listening to music outside.

It’s a really horrible place .Smell like mold ,beds are uncomfortable,sink are clogged,bar open till 8 pm some days …don’t bring uuur girlfriend there she will dump you !

The staff and service was great. The room had mold on the ceiling and the air conditioner. The floor was moist like it became wet and never dried.

Only coffee and pastries for breakfast, hotel restaurant closed (alternatives miles away), antiquated room, all made much worse by expectations driven by the 8.6 rating on Expedia. Note, plan to ignore Expedia ratings in the future, this was one in a string of stays that their ratings were inflated.

Very nice staff. Floor in room wasn’t very clean. Bedspreads seemed old and one was torn. Lots of people smoking right outside their rooms which filters into your room (if your door opens to outside). I would probably return though.

I've never stayed in a place like this so haven't submitted a poor review before. Let me first say that the check in process went smooth and quick. However, the lady who checked us in was not friendly at all, did not smile and was not welcoming. She could have been having a bad day, so grace is given. However, being in customer service, you're at least pleasant when customers come to your business. The room was horrible. This is an old ski lodge which we knew when we reserved the room and it's very basic. The beds were more like doubles instead of queens and were very uncomfortable. The pillows were old. The floors were filthy and we had to wear our shoes while walking around the room, as food crumbs and long hair were sticking to our feet. There were potato chip crumbs in the corners of the bathroom and dust on the furniture and air conditioner. It looked like the room hadn't been cleaned since before the last occupants stayed in that room. I do say the sheets had been changed, the bathroom cleaned (except the floors) and the counters wiped down. Needless to say, we will not be returning to the Skyline Lodge.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this motel was beyond disappointing. The building is extremely outdated — it looks like it hasn’t been renovated since the 1970s. Everything feels old, dirty, and neglected. The room smelled musty and the furniture looked like it came from a garage sale. The bathroom was in terrible shape — cracked tiles, rust on the fixtures. I didn’t feel safe or comfortable staying here. It’s not worth it. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Spend a few extra dollars and go somewhere decent. This place needs a serious renovation or should just be shut down.
