“location is close to center. but no parking place available. it was difficult to find parking place and needs to put money several times to parking lot which was 5 min walk. if you are lucky , maybe can find a place in the street in front of the hotel. room was very nice and clean. but the common area had no drinking water and the coffee mashine wa not cleaned and the filter with old coffee was allover molded. bring your flashlight if you want to go back at night as the light at the gate has a……

“Casa Gotica Residence is a beautifully restored property inside of a lovely old building located right on Republic Street in Brasov old town. Location could not be better! Close walking distance to all of the major sites. Staff nailed the check-in process. I’m not normally a fan of places that don’t have a permanently staffed front desk, but they sent a couple of easy to follow videos that made all the difference. Highly recommended!”

“The walls are very thin and you can hear everything from the other people staying there. The floor upstairs is the ceiling of your room and you hear every step and all the sound echos. The stairs are very loud. Also, there is NO A/C. The room is good and the bathroom is big and clean, but the noise is too much. The host told me to go outside on the terrace to cool off. I didn’t want to be on the terrace at midnight. Also if you are in the front room, you are 5 feet from the street and hear every……

“This is a very nice hotel, very clean and beautiful setting. Getting to it is an absolute nightmare. One has to travel down almost 2 miles of dirt, gravel road up the side of a mountain, the GPS that I was using got completely confused and sent me down the wrong dirt road, someone from the hotel had to come to the town square to lead me cause it was impossible to find the place. Once there the hotel was great, staff from friendly and pleasant. If one is going to stay here make sure to rent a 4x4……
