Good Hope Easter

Warm, cozy and tidy. The views are so gorgeous we could have spend days just looking at the hills, the lake and the clouds. Thank you for the fantastic four days we spent at Good Hope!

Relaxing retreat a bit off the beaten track with great views

Comfortable wel-appointed cottage, high on a ridge with great views over Burrinjuck dam. Good-sized pool for the warmer weather, and pleanty of room for dog to run in the enclosure. Friendly helpful hosts, Nice breakfast supplies. BYO dinner recommended, as it's some distance (~30 mins drive) from shops and eateries in Yass.

Beautiful views and relaxing bird sounds

Host was so so lovely and cooked a delicious meal for dinner. At the time of booking I did not realise the hosts dogs would be on the other side of the pool fence so my reactive dogs were noisy which I hope did not disturb the hosts. Otherwise a very relaxing stay.

Great but accomodation very small

Really only accomodation to suit 1 person or couple tied at umbilical cord😂. So wouldn’t book to share but would book for me alone.

Absolutely wonderful!

You have to go to Good Hope to see for yourself. Words could not give it justice. Mandy, our dog, went around the pool, but resisted jumping in. She just loves swimming pools. The views, well, imagine you are in God’s country.

Stunning Views

Jacquie and Michael are wonderful hosts. Accomodation is quaint , clean and perfect for two. Safe area for our dogs who loved dipping their toe beans in after a long drive in the car. Would definately love to come back and spend a couple of days reading drink8ng

Wonderful holiday

Jacqui and the dogs were so lovely and accommodating. Really friendly and we loved the visits from Elsa, Shadow and Patch. The location is superb and it was so good to get away from the rat race of Sydney. Having the pool was just what the doctor ordered. I would definitely visit again and recommend Amazing Views B&B to others.

Stunning and made to feel very welcome

We came with our 14 year old little staffie dog. Up a dirt track road through stunning countryside to a most amazing place. We were made to feel so welcome and we were made to feel alone in such a beautiful location. Lots of little extras made us feel so welcome and cared for. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely rebook. Thank you so much.

Felt uncomfortable being there as it was just a pool house in someone's back yard and their large back patio looked straight onto it. I hid inside with the curtains drawn throughout my one night stay.

Cosy for Winter

2nd visit here, convenient halfway between Sydney and Albury so long as you’re prepared for your evening meal. Cosy, stunning views and great hosts. Fabulous for our pups as well. First weekend of Winter and we were warm and cosy.

Amazing location in the hills

Really enjoyed our stay here. Jacquie was very helpful and super friendly. Patch was also equally as friendly and there to greet us upon arrival. We will be back in the summer to take advantage of the pool and decking

Beautiful location

A cattle and sheep property that is quiet and peaceful with a stunning view. We had a delicious evening meal that was prearranged with the property owner. The portions were generous and very enjoyable. It was a cold night but we were warm and cosy. My only concern was that there is no fence between the accommodation and the pool. Our dog is elderly and is sight impaired and so we had to keep him inside most of the time in case he fell into the pool. Other than that the property was terrific.

Perfect home away from home

The house was perfect for our very quick trip to NSW it was clean and comfortable and a lovely breakfast was provided. Our dogs were able to stay and had plenty of room to run around. The views are spectacular you can sit on the verandah and take a moment to enjoy the scenery. The hosts were really lovely people.

Fabulous retreat

Loved this property, chose because it's pet friendly but can't deny the views and ambience were outstanding! Well appointed with most of what you need for a short break, separate bedroom and bathroom, cosy lounge/dining, pool on the doorstep and jaw-dropping views of Lake Hume and surrounding countryside. Generous continental breakfast included, and good options to heat up our evening meal. Jacquie, our host, was warm and welcoming and so were her pups Elsa and Shadow. We loved this place!!

Rural Rest Stop

This is cosy clean accommodation in a quite rural location. 20 minutes off the main highway. Well worth the diversion. Well appointed lodgings with magnificent views of the valley and lake. Also has a pool, for warmer months. Highly recommended.

Nice little stop on the way home. All the basics you need and clean. Bedroom with ensuite, separate to living room.Owner greeted us on arrival. Lovely dogs on the property that are very sweet and affectionate. The unsealed road up the hill from the sealed road, is best suited for 4WD or ute, but could do it very slowly in a sedan (we were in a 4WD). We arrived after dark unfortunately, because sunset would be nice from here, but the night sky was a dazzling view.
