“The road in was atrocious, requiring high clearance (really- owner can give you a lift) BUT if you want superb jungle solitude with great food, this is it. Rustic, yes, but all you need is here. No AC, but it’s cool after dark and you can hear the jungle in all its glory. Super cool platform in a giant ceiba tree a must view (about 85 feet high). Cabins well constructed with nice beds/mosquito nets though, again, rustic. Howler monkeys galore, dense jungle canopy.”

“I am giving three stars because I expected more from the presidential room we paid for. While the staff were welcoming and helpful, the hotel itself left much to be desired. A major issue was the lack of hot water for showers, which is unacceptable considering the price of the presidential suite. “Incredibly delightful stay at the Voco. Clean rooms, comfortable and spacious beds, air-conditioned rooms, solid wifi and television, and such a convenient location for the hotel. The hotel also has a small parking lot on site, which was really helpful.
We asked for a recommendation for a tour of the Isletas. The staff called their connection and we were on our way in about 15 minutes.
Highly recommend this place for locals or foreigners.”
