We really enjoyed our stay here. Every room in the newer addition has a balcony and air-conditioning. The room was spacious and clean. It did not have a microwave. There were mule deer wondering around quite often. We ate at the hotel restaurant twice. The food was pricey but it was good. I like that it's set back and away from the hustle and bustle. We found a place to park just fine each time we needed to. The Bright Angel trail and view is very walkable, but if you don't feel like walking the Blue Bus does stop at the hotel and run around the main areas. It was quiet. It was peaceful. It was a great place to unwind and wait for the weather to cool down during July, then head back out to see The Grand Canyon.

A Great shower with the best water pressure I have seen in decades. A peaceful place as well. Centrally located in the village. My only complaint was the confusing street layout.

Good location inside the park, close to the station when you arrive by train like us. The staff is polite and available, but does only the minimum required. Big lack of flexibility on check-in times, we arrived at 11.30am tired after a night on the train and impossible to receive a room before 4pm. Overall good experience, with restaurants on the facility and a shuttle stop right by the door.

This was a good location to stay in Grand Canyon National Park, but if you are a family of 5 just know that the rollaway bed is pretty much unusable. You can feel the springs. Also, the room never really got cool. We had a July stay so maybe the air conditioning just couldn’t keep up. We stayed in one of the updated rooms in the south building. The location was very nice though. We enjoyed being able to take short walks to the rim. Also, it was very convenient having the food court right there at our lodge. We found the food to be fine despite what other reviewers have said. There isn’t an abundance of places to eat in the park, so having the food court with several options was a great amenity. Overall I think we chose the best option for us as a family with three teens.

Restaurants on the property were convenient although the breakfast options were limited at the hotel. Pizza place was delish however. We were there during a slow time apparently as the crowds were non existent (Late July)

We stayed one night with our family of 5 (2adults, 3 kids (2 kids are teens). A pull out couch or extra rolling bed were not options at this lodge. When we go again, we will get a bigger accommodation or a 2nd room. We made it work for the night but it was a tight sleep with 3 kids in one bed. The location was perfect for us as we were staying one night. We arrived late afternoon and were able to book a sunset grand canyon tour. The tour left from Bright Angel Lodge & cabins location. If you can book a sunset tour WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND it! It was the most incredible and breathtaking experience we have ever had. The tour stopped at various locations where we got off and took in the views. Our kids were between ages 9, 13, & 15 during this trip. Depending on how well your young children follow directions, I wouldn't recommend this tour for young children as there are many spots without safety railings etc. If you aren't able to book the tour, it's ok. There is a fantastic viewing area outside the Bright Angel Lodge & Cabins (through their gift shop). There are not very many options to eat aside from the locations in the lodge (pizza or the buffet cafeteria). We did find a delicious sit down restaurant inside Bright Angel Lodge. There are little shops outside the Bright Angel Lodge walking path. For movie fans traveling here like us, you can also take the walking path to El Tovar Hotel which is the hotel used in one of the Chevy Chase Vacation movies. We will stay again!

Our room was clean and comfortable. We were only there for a night but enjoyed the facility and the park. The food court was convenient and offered a reasonable selection but and the food was pricey and only so so. Portions at breakfast are large and you might want consider splitting an order with a traveling companion. That said, the staff was friendly and we enjoyed our stay.
