“We wanted quiet, peaceful, beautiful, unique and considerate and that’s what we got. To be woken up by pheasants and lambs, dinner at The Plough, logs being burnt inside and out and amazing views and walks… it was all there.”
“My boyfriend and I had an overnight stay at Little Dane Court a couple of weeks ago after a dining experience on The Kent and East Sussex Railway.
This hotel is a converted grade 2 listed building with several rooms. We stayed in the Courtyard room which had brilliant underfloor heating (in fact it was a little too hot during the evening), lots of cute oriental artefacts and a large amount of space. The kimono style robes and slippers are a lovely editions, as well as the little chocolate eggs……
“Right at the top of Rye. It was absolutely fantastic and beautiful. Staff were so friendly and helpful. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and huge! Breakfast was lovely. Really, really recommend. ”
“We loved our stay in this unique place. The staff was warm and welcoming and very accommodating and the surrounding area was gorgeous to wander. Given the age of the Inn, the facilities are excellent, although an upgrade in the bathroom, especially the shower, would be nice. “First class guest house. The hosts, Karen & Malcolm, and their staff member were terrifically hospitable and convivial. My double room - designated G was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Every need seemed to have been catered for, including mini-bar / fridge / snacks etc. Tea / coffee etc. Dressing gowns if required and luxurious toiletries. The breakfast room had super views and I thought the freshly prepared breakfast itself was incredibly delicious and filling and deserving of the……
