The property is amazingly beautiful. Everything was meticulous, including the castle and the grounds. The food was delicious. We had daily breakfast, one dinner in the dining room as well as a picnic that was perfectly prepared for us. What impressed me most,however, was the people. When I think back about the castle, that is what comes into my head first. They took SUCH good care of us in every way. We arrived late and the restaurant was closed so they prepared us sandwiches. They prepared a beautiful picnic for our dinner one evening and when we had transportation issues, they went above and beyond to help us. I would love to go back!

A truly special place!
My partner and I stayed at Castello Vicchiomaggio for a couple of nights during a 2-week trip through Italy. It was everything we dreamed of and more! The vibe and ambiance at the castello was great, and the views are simply incredible. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable, with a lovely view across the vineyard. The food was amongst the very best we had across our whole time in Italy. The lunch menu was particularly excellent value for money and tasted amazing. We went on Castello Vicchiomaggio's wine tour, and this was a highly recommendable experience. The wine produced on this Chianti estate is amazing, and to learn about the wine and the estate was so interesting. My partner and I got engaged at this stunning place, and it couldn't have been more perfect. Delfina made this most magical moment possible, and I can't emphasise enough how helpful and hospitable she was both ahead of and during our stay. All of the staff were so friendly and profession, and this only added to our amazing stay. We will certainly be back in the future, and this place will forever hold a special place in our heart.

We stayed here for 2 nights on our honeymoon and were blown away with the views and grounds of this property. We had a 1 bedroom apartment which was VERY spacious! We enjoyed time by the pool and lunch in the garden - the lunch was amazing! We HIGHLY recommend joining the Monday night vineyard tour, wine tasting and dinner in the ballroom. It was one of our favourite experiences from our trip, and it was very affordable! Our tour guide, Ines, was charismatic and engaging - we absolutely loved her. She even made recommendations for restaurants for the rest of our trip and we had one of our BEST meals at one of her recommendations. We will DEFINITELY be staying here on our next trip to Tuscany!

Best views in all of Tuscany, the restaurant was amazing and Marco did a great job playing the piano as we ate. Pool and a spectacular view. 10/10 would recommend it to anyone.

the Castello was amazing so peaceful and in touch with nature the staff A1 for us it was very conveniently located if we only knew of its magic we would have stayed a few days more for sure will make it up on our next trip those 2 nights spent at the V will and always be the highlight of our trip

This was a memorable stay at a castle! First, it was cool to stay at this castle. Next, the Family Apartment was tremendous (2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, huge living area). Next, you have to eat dinner at their restaurant - it seems everyone who stayed there did so also - and it was the best night of our trip. The pool was great (quiet, not a party area, no bar, etc). The grounds are great to walk around, sit on a bench, enjoy the views, take pics, relax, have a drink, go wine tasting, etc.) The beds weren't too comfortable but it wasn't a big deal.
