Very clean and very well stocked. The kitchen had everything you might need, tons of board games, furniture and beds were comfy. Lots of option for enjoying the lake including an operation vintage pontoon. Sunsets were beautiful from the deck and the screen porch. It was 45 minutes to an hour from Bemidji, Brainerd, and Itasca state park. Hackensack is 15 minutes away. Really couldn't ask for more. The kitchen works great and you're close enough to the town to be able to get supplies or go to a restaurant. I caught four different northern pike over 5 days and I'm pretty happy with that. The kayak works great along with the canoe. We struggled with the pontoon but didn't really need it. It is quite a steep hill from the cabin down to the dock. We spent six incredible days at this amazing cabin! The fishing was phenomenal. The cabin is adorable and we spent every evening on deck by fire. Weather was good and no mosquitoes here! Ate most of our meals out on the deck. This home is well stocked and well maintained. We brought a boat to fish area lakes. Used the pontoon here and explored Trillium Lake. It was so quiet and restful. We woke up with a smile each morning to the sound of the loons. The vintage pontoon was perfect for an evening ride around the lake or a little fishing. Kimberly is a great host and responded timely to our questions. The cabin is tastefully decorated. We felt love as soon as we walked in. The place has a little “ off the beaten path,” feel with tons of privacy which we liked. So well stocked; with ample linens and kitchen items there was nothing we needed that wasn’t there. The sauna was also great!!!
