“The apartment(s) were modern and well designed. The apartment(s) were generally in good condition but would benefit from a fresh coat of paint. The location is convenient and close to transport, although as others have noted, there are a number of “adult” shops nearby. My rating would have been much higher but when I arrived, I was told the apartment I had booked was being renovated and we would need to move from apartment to apartment during our stay. The manager knew this well in advance but……

There was a situation where the original listing I had rented flooded a few days before I got to Munich and the host offered me a refund or alternative housing. Given I had already made plans and reservations for Oktoberfest, I couldn't cancel. I trusted that the host had an alternative rental accommodation, but that wasn't the case. The days before arriving to Munich, the communication from the host was sparse.……

“Host pulled a bait and switch on us last second. We booked one large apartment for my group attending Oktoberfest and then he swapped us to two smaller apartments nearby saying he accidently gave up our space. Living rooms smelled of cigarette smoke and wifi did not work very well. We were moved a few blocks away but the street we were moved to was very loud and kept everyone up at night. We had no option but to accept the property as we did not want to be thrown out on the street with no place……

“The apartment is very modern with almost everything you need (no microwave). It is in an excellent location with east access to the subway (U-Bahn) which is very easy to use especially if you have the week long pass. Many points of interest (Glockenspiel) are within walking distance if that is your thing. Overall, the apartment is awesome!!”
