It’s so pretty and comfortable here and great value for money. Friendly staff, lovely chocolate on the pillow, free parking and a nice pub (we didn’t use but would do next time)

This hotel room was one of the nicest we stayed in! It was so comfortably set up, the staff was very kind and welcoming when we arrived, and the restaurant/bar on site was delicious! We stayed while awaiting a trip out of Stansted Airport and would definitely return.

We enjoyed our stay at this property. It was very close to our relatives who we were visiting. It was very convenient to be able to have breakfast at the property. Our only complaint which was a problem during our stay was that there was a problem with our shower and toilet. The maintenance man did tell us they were aware of the issues. Also we had an issue with the toilet seat even though they did attempt to fix it.

Nice pub and hotel stay

Really nice stay. Spacious room and bed. Bathroom needed a bit of cleaning attention but nothing too bad. Friendly staff and good restaurant and bar. Yummy food!

The room was lovely nice pillows and bed was comfortable. The shower was good and hot. The cap on hot tap missing loo seat loose but other than that a perfect stay

A very busy kitchen so some food seemed a little dry might have waited a little for serving and some a little cool. Staff did a good job. Service quick enough. Wi-Fi poor - need to go through logon process very frequently. Room servicing a little erratic. Room lighting was a joke.

After a brutal day of traveling in from Canada, delayed flights, missed connections and hours of transit commutes around london, I ended up at this lovely spot. I couldn't have asked for a better ending after a day of hell. The pub is adorable, food amazing, staff incredibly helpful and friendly, and the room spacious, clean and cozy. I would hands down recommend it and will be making it a staple in future travels. Thank you!

Stanstead Airport pre-stay - loved it!

Amazing welcome (to stay overnight) - really friendly. Rooms were great, enjoyed the food on a busy evening (Thursday!), and had a drink in the bar. Stayed before a Stansted Airport trip - it's only about 15 mins away (and much much nicer than a mundane airport hotel!)

Great stay

Had a lovely stay. Room was very clean, decor was lovely and the bed was extremely comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay.. couldn’t fault the hotel at all staff very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay here again

Great location for Stansted Airport as well as That Amazing Place wedding venue. It is worth noting that ge rooms are not air conditioned and can be very hot in July and August. There is no lift. The WiFi is free but is too slow to use.

Nice room with good supply of tea, coffee, hot chocolate, biscuits and a chocolate each which was nice. Lovely decor, just a little bit of maintenance needed as tap in bath moved. When using and a bit of enamel missing on bath, but all in all, a comfortable stay with a generous breakfast in the morning. Friendly welcoming staff.
