“We both really loved this property despite having no lift1 The owner is a lovely man and brought a boottle opener from home to lend us. The breakfast was exceptional. I had OD'd on full English breakfasts for this year so the wonderful cut fresh fruit, yogurt with compote and crumpets were a great change. I really looked forward to breakfast each day! “Paul and Sophie were the consumate hosts. Attentive without being over bearing. The property is in first class order with everything you could need for a perfect quiet stay. The breakfast was amazing and freshly cooked to order every day. As we have family in the area, we have always struggled to find good accommodation but Lynedene ticked all the boxes!! “Wanted to stay somewhere with a rural charm, and this did not disappoint! Staff very friendly and helpful. We did the half board which offered great value. Proper pub food, reasonably priced and excellent quality. Same can be said about breakfast. Great location to explore the area and walks nearby. Only slight downside were that the walls were quite thin so you could hear movements from neighbouring rooms. ”
