“Great rate but bad experience. I normally stay at Hampton Inn. Their rates were very high so i decided to give this a try. Reviews stated hotel run down but clean. “My daughter and I stopped in for a one night stay. It was a lovely experience. Jenny and Gerry were warm and kind. The mansion was beautiful. My 11 year old daughter was especially enchanted with the beautiful garden and fairy homes throughout. We stayed in the peacock chamber and we felt like princesses. My sleep was excellent. We have gluten allergies and had an early morning leadership convention so Jenny was so dear to our fruit and granola in a to go box for us. We would love to visit again……

“The property needs to be renovated. The rooms look old & they smell. The bed was ok but I wouldn’t even sit on the couch or chair. The breakfast consisted of 2 cereals, muffins, toast, coffee & orange juice. The worst breakfast I have ever seen in a hotel. And if you didn’t get a cup of coffee by 9:00 it was gone. The only reason I stayed here it was the only room I could find during the hurricane evacuation. Would never recommend.”
