“Loved staying here! This house is so cozy and comfortable with plenty of room. We felt very welcomed by Shannon. I will miss walking out for the sunrise and watching the cows! A great place for us to stay at while going to a family wedding.”

“Great, private location with a good amount of space for kids and adults. The lake view was incredible and the fire pit was wonderful to stay up and watch the stars. The games were nice to have for a rainy day as well. We did have an issue with check in, but the host went above and beyond to make it right. Would love to go back!”

“Nice layout with all the immenities”

“We enjoyed our stay at Paul’s cabin. It was a great home base for us as we traveled around the area (Hillman, Alpena, Clear Lake State Park beach, Ocqueoc Falls, and Rogers City). The cabin was comfortable. It was close quarters but suited our needs. Thank you for sharing your cabin with us.”

“The lake house was so perfect for a long weekend! The pictures don't do it justice. The host had everything we would need from utensils, to beach towels they had a FULLY stocked kitchen we really didn't need to bring anything with us. The decorations and attention to detail really pulled the weekend together, we all felt right at home. And there was plenty of room with all the beds up stairs and the large sofa there was plenty of room for everyone.”

“Place was clean and well kept. It had all the amenities of home and plenty of space for families. Having air conditioning, dish washer, a full kitchen, and washer and dry was also a bonus for managing traveling families.”

“We had a wonderful weekend!”

“The property was in a great location, and the lake was very nice and Mitch was very easy to communicate with. The house could use a deep clean and check that all the screens are in so you can open the windows.”

“This cottage on Lake Avalon was very well suited for our family reunion. The kids and grandkids LOVED the water activity with an ample supply of fun (kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, the floating trampoline, canoe, etc) ...so much fun.The house worked out great with super fast and solid wi-fi, any kitchen utensil and dish you could ask for, 2 fridges, lots of towels, blankets, bed space, and bathrooms. Huge kitchen island for gathering :-)The outdoor space is king here, with the very large patio,……

“This property was so well stocked! From welcome snacks, to qtips the amenities were amazing! So clean! The bedding was so soft I’m buying those sheets! We came for an annual family fishing trip, and even tho the fishing was slow we had a great time! Thanks so much for your prompt reply to our questions and for providing such an awesome place for us to enjoy beautiful Michigan.”
