“Though it was pricey, I'm thankful that I had the option to pay $30 for a parking permit, as we were getting back to the room close to midnight after a show at the forum, and I wanted guaranteed parking. Reaching a person to ask about things like late check out is proving to be difficult, however. I really like having a door code instead of a key. The room is nicely decorated and the bathroom is huge! Loved the shower. Bed is ok--glad I was just sleeping one night, though! Overall very lovely……

“The location is key here. The Green Store is super convenient to have right next door and it is a very short walk to the beach. Also, it is very close to where lots of the action takes place in Hermosa Beach and plenty of restaurants nearby. Good Stuff and Martha's were both wonderful places for breakfast.”

“While traveling, the host called us to inform us of flooding in the house due to the neighbors unit, we were devastated, but within an hour, she got us relocated to another house that was fabulous. She made sure we made it there and had great instructions and that we were happy with the property when we arrived. “Great location one house from the beach. Rooftop tables and grill and ocean and beach view. The two units are end to end. This one on the street and the other on the bike path. Great kitchen. Three nicely updated bathrooms. Master bedroom comfy bed and private bath. Second bedroom is a full size bed with a smaller bunk above. Trundle below. “I love this hotel for cruising out of long beach, they are clean and comfortable. The staff always goes above and beyond and anre extremely helpful and accommodating. The location is absolutely perfect for dining and shopping. I loved I could pay $ 30 (a nominal fee) to check in early since our flight came in before four. All in all I will continue to choose this hotel for location , staff, shuttle and proximity to port and dining.”

"We stayed for four days and three nights, and our experience was truly outstanding. From the flavorful meals to the sparkling clean pool, the well-maintained environment, and the reliable shuttle service—every detail was thoughtfully handled and exceeded expectations. The only aspect that could use improvement was the service attitude of the night shift front desk staff, who came across as less welcoming compared to the daytime team. A bit more warmth and attentiveness during the night would truly elevate the guest experience. Overall, this hotel is a fantastic choice for families visiting Universal Studios Hollywood. The facilities are family-friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed yet vibrant, and everything is conveniently located. Strongly recommended for a comfortable and enjoyable family getaway!"
