“This place’s view was stunning. The cabin is exactly as pictured and cozy. The most important factors for us were that it was dog friendly and they had an amazing restaurant on site which was handy because there isn’t much around in terms of dining. This place is worth the drive and the hosts who live on site were accommodating but also gave you space. I would recommend this place to anyone going to the Powell river area”

“The "cabin" is a beautiful small house that looks like it was built very recently. Lots of natural light, a big kitchen, and a very private feeling covered patio with a gas fireplace. The loft works ok for sleeping but the ceiling is low up there and it would be greatly improved with some curtains to block the early morning sun - and maybe some privacy curtains as well to separate that space from the rest of the house. “It was a pleasant and quiet place to stay with our dog. The accommodation was small yet as advertised. The outdoor common kitchen area needed some improvements -eg- there was no running water in the sink. ”

“This was our first trip to Savary and Susan was very helpful with letting us know what we needed to know before arriving.The Huckleberry Hideaway had everything our family of 4 (2 kids ages 7 and 5) and family dog Alfie could ask for. The place had comfy beds, a practical modern kitchen and access to games (badminton, cornhole, etc.) that we played at the beaches and on the property.
