"First off, the staff were not welcoming at all; most of them had an attitude. The customer service was horrible, and the room didn't feel or smell clean. I got food poisoning from this resort, which resulted in me ending up in the hospital and spending thousands of dollars. The resort is trying to downplay it, acting as if their food isn't the cause, even though I haven't eaten anywhere else, mostly just the buffet. My little 3-year-old son got sick as well, and even my mother. We all got sick from this resort. This resort is not clean, neither the food nor the rooms! I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Royalton Splash Mexico will never get my money or time again. 0/10"

"​We had a fantastic stay at Seadust Cancun! The staff were the absolute highlight—from the seamless check-in where everything was clearly explained to the friendly bellhops who took great care of our luggage. ​The food exceeded our expectations. The buffet was our favorite due to the massive variety, though the Ribeye at the Steakhouse was a close second. Don’t miss the fabulous carrot cake at the Manhattan restaurant! ​Our room was impressively large. While there is some cosmetic wear and tear (primarily on the flooring) that shows the resort’s age, it’s nothing serious. We even saw active renovations happening throughout the property, which is a great sign. ​Highlights: ​Infinity Pool: Amazing views of the beach with high-energy activities like water polo and "swim Zumba." ​Family Friendly: The children’s center is perfect for younger kids, though teens might find it a bit young. ​Grounds: The gardens and exterior are beautifully maintained. ​Overall, the warm service and great amenities made for a memorable vacation. We will definitely be coming back!"

"I was extremely happy with our stay at Sunscape! I went with another mother and 4 teenagers. We were all entertained and had a fantastic week! The food was amazing! Whether it was the food at the four evening restaurants, the buffet, or the taco bar next to the pool, they all exceeded my expectations! Sunscape was kept very clean. The rooms were immaculate, the grounds were continuously being swept, windows and doors were wiped down and the buffet was constantly being tidied up. The service was phenomenal. Every employee was curtious and wanted to make our experience the best! I was expecting conditioner in the showers in our rooms since I think that is pretty standard. However, the bathrooms just had shampoo and body wash. Sunscape had lots of entertainment during the day at the pool and the beach....volleyball, zumba, ping pong, bags, soccer, etc. However, I wish they didn't put everything away at 5:00. We would have loved to enjoy these things past 5:00. "
