Historical Old New Castle Vacations from $609

My room was clean, with the exception of a snack bag under the edge of the bed, pubic hair in the shower, and cup rings on the desk that I had to wipe down. The bed and furniture were very comfortable. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. There were two boxes of six-pack muffins from Sam's Club (label still attached), bagels on an open tray with cream cheese, a small amount of apples, oranges and bananas, and a small amount of cereal. There was no juice machine but juice in two serving containers. Coffee was in small push top pots. There were no eggs, meat, oatmeal, yogurt, or any of the regula tems you would find at other "free breakfast" hotels. The hotel is in a secluded area. Trash was overflowing and on the ground when I arrived and the next morning. There's not a lot of good parking because side door swipes (at least the ones I tried) didn't work. There is a Quality Inn in the same area. There were a lot of shady people hanging around, day and late at night which made me feel very uncomfortable about safety. One of the side doors was propped open. I brought this to the attention of the front desk. I was very concerned that people would be able to walk in and out of the hotel randomly, meaning lack of security. I later found out the door had been propped open because the door swipe would not work with a room key. It was broken. Had to walk outside to get to "indoor" pool!🤔 Although staff were nice, I do not recommend this hotel nor would I ever stay there again.

Tv didn’t work and they said sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn’t, nothing they can do

The room was clean, but the lotion and body wash dispensers were not refilled prior to us checking in. The body wash dispenser was empty and I didn't know it prior to getting into the shower. We used the last kleenex tissue out of the box around 10 pm an called the front desk. Someone picked up but never said a word. I heard them breathing but did not answer. My husband went to the desk and got a box. He asked why they didn't say anything after picking up the phone and the answer was they were on another call. I thought they should've asked me to hold.
