Holmes beach get away

This was quite an amazing property. We absolutely loved the proximity to Holmes Beach and utilized it extensively. The pool was so wonderful. The beach equipment was awesome. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. The gameroom was great. Laundry, bathrooms..great. This place had everything. The only couple things we thought needed some improvement was a true deep clean in the kitchen (and possibly some updating), and a deeper cleaning targeting pet hair. Overall we loved it.

Perfect!

This was such a cute place in a great location. Just a short walk to the beach and a great neighborhood. We got a lot of use out of the pool and the backyard. The game room was super neat! Everything was very clean and we had everything we needed. It looks just like the pictures, but even better. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!

Peaceful pool

A unique old Florida house in a quiet neighborhood. Had a great pool in a wonderfully landscaped backyard. The house was very close to an uncrowded beach which after driving down the road to Cortez and Coquina beaches became so much more appreciated.

Best vacay ever

Anything you can imagine for a wonderful vacation is available in this beautiful home! We have never seen so many games, puzzles, books, etc. for guests. The pool was amazing! We will be back!!

Excellent experience

Excellent experience, perfect location for beach access, very responsive hosts, everything was as described and presented. Everything that could be needed in home was present including high chair, pack n play, beach wagon, umbrellas etc. Perfect access to beach. Great pool. Delicious mangos from the tree in the yard that host recommended that we take a taste of. Very kid friendly, game room was a hit and enjoyed by entire family. Comfortable accommodations, with everything that is needed for a restful vacation. Would definitely stay again and recommend to friends.

Perfect Vaca Getaway

We absolutely loved this quirky house near the beach. Such a fun and funky vibe. The house was clean, had so many unique touches, and so many things to keep guests entertained. The pool was beautiful and it is a very short walk to the beach. Would definitely recommend to anyone inquiring!

Perfect vacation paradise

I cannot say enough about our experience with this fabulous property and the lovely owners. We are already planning a (hopefully) spring break trip to this house in 2022. The house is charming and inviting. It has such personality and is obvious well loved and cared for by the owners. Everything that was described in the listing was accurate and we even found some wonderful additional surprises. We loved all of the game options, the ping-pong table and foosball table. I don’t think we were expecting the game room to be as large and inviting as it was and the space was perfect for our family to spread out in. The pool was my children’s favorite part and the lights show and in pool recliner area and eating area poolside we’re a nightly favorite. The rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. It was wonderful to be in a home so well appointed in the kitchen so that we could cook all of our meals in. The neighborhood is just charming and very residential and we loved the short walk to the beach. As described, the property had all sorts of beach and pool accessories which we made use of. We have already recommended this home to our family and will do so without hesitation to anybody looking for a peaceful getaway. You can do as much or little as you like on this charming island and we feel like we barely scratched the surface. I have to say that I am bowled over by the property owners. They were quickly responsive when we had questions and were incredibly accommodating and kind. They provided all of the information that we could need to have a perfect trip, including local recommendations and tips. And they certainly made our trip a whole lot easier with information when facing a potential hurricane

Amazing!

This was our first trip to AMI. We have three kids: 5,8, & 10 and when we go anywhere for a week the Expedition is packed! We didn’t have to do that this year! Joy Abounds had EVERYTHING we needed for the beach or pool in the house. Mamas- can I get an Amen?! Beach chairs, toys, towels, umbrellas, carts, floats, pool noodles, etc. They also had a highchair and pack n play if you need those. In addition to a comfortable house the best part inside was the sunroom/game room that overlooks the pool. Ping pong, fooseball, tons of books and board games. The property is beautifully landscaped and you feel like you are at a professional resort. The beach is maybe 100 yards across a tiny side street- no major road to cross. This was a huge plus with kids. We packed clothes, a few dry goods and had InstaCart deliver our groceries 30 minutes after we arrived. Lisa and Zach communicated everything we needed to know and answered all questions in a timely manner. We loved it so much we booked 2022 before we left!

Location and Pool!

The location is amazing. It's right in the middle of the island, so a quick drive or walk to everything. The beach is so close and our small children had no trouble walking to the beach. The pack n play and high chair were very much appreciated. The kids loved the shelf in the pool, and we loved the umbrella in the pool to keep them in the shade. The owners were so helpful for anything we needed. The only issue was the ants, which I've heard is an issue everywhere. We left food (in packages) on the counter and in the cabinet and in the morning there were ants all over the food. We then kept everything in the fridge and microwave and all was well the rest of the week. We would definitely stay here again.

Lovely vintage property in a perfect area

We had multiple families join us for our stay and we’re able to find this property which was 1/2 block from the property we were renting . The home was well equipped, gorgeous pool and close to us as well as the beach . Our family loved it !

Joy Abounds is the perfect name for this charming beach home!

We absolutely loved our time at The Pink House (as our kids delighted in calling our home away from home) and one week went by all too fast! Everything in the home was comfortable, charming and welcoming - it was a perfect home base for exploring Anna Maria Island, and truly just a 3 minute walk from the turquoise water and white sand beach. The showstopper at the house is the new and AMAZING pool in the fenced backyard. If you have kids who love to play in the water (as we do), it will be difficult to get them out of the sparkling pool to do anything else. The grownups also spent many blissful afternoons reading on the pool loungers in the sun. Having our own private pool at the house made for a A+ vacation and everyone nearly cried when we had to leave. We are already dreaming about returning :) The owners couldn't have been nicer, they were communicative, helpful and so responsive when we had a question about the house. Thank you so much - this was a vacation with so much JOY - we'll never forget the sunsets we got to see and all the fun we had every day!

Easy 5 minute walk to beach. Owners have done a nice job of having everything on hand from beach umbrella, beach towels, and a cart to carry all that. Pool is wonderful. Warm and clean. Very responsive owners.

Amazing and comfortable stay

Loved this place!

This home is in a perfect location with a PERFECT pool! The beds are comfy, the kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of room for our family of 6 to sprawl out. The game room was a nice place to hang out and gave extra activities for us to enjoy but THAT POOL THO! We will absolutely stay again!

Fun, eclectic, old Florida home in perfect location!

The owners could not have been nicer or more accommodating. This property is centrally located on the island for any activities, restaurants, or drives into Bradenton or beyond. The game room area was a big hit with our teens. The new pool is amazing. Most of our time at the house was spent in the pool. It was so nice to have the beach cart, umbrellas and chairs for the very short walk to the beach. It was one of our favorite family vacations to date.

Best 1st Experience to AMI

Location was excellent to beach and dining. Amazing pool! Game room was a huge hit! House was fully furnished with more than expected. Very nice to have beach towels, beach chairs, and cart. Makes packing easier! This was the easiest in and out place we have stayed at. Owners were amazing to work with and communication was superb!

It doesn't get much better than this

This property was all we were looking for and more. It is a short 3 minute walk to the beach without having to cross any busy streets. We had 3 kids ages 3-7 that had no issues with the walk. The new pool in the back yard is the perfect compliment to the property. Kids loved the light show in the pool. The neighborhood has a very residential feeling. The owners were great to work with and very responsive to questions. We hope to be back soon!

How lucky can you get !!!

You’re very lucky if you rent this home. We love it here. If being only steps from the beach isn’t enough, now there is a new heated pool with a fountain and a light show! Awesome for the kids and romantic for couples. Everything you need is there and tons of things you would never think about until you saw them. Also perfect location and your hosts are tres accommodating. Better hurry to get this classic Anna Maria Island gem.
