Cozy spot, perfect for my wife and I who live in a big city. Had great views of the ocean, we had a great time. Be prepared to drive about 15-20 minute but the drive are beautiful scenery.

Anniversary trip
My husband and I stayed here for three nights on our tour of the Hawaiian islands. We absolutely loved this guest home. It was clean, comfortable, peaceful and relaxing. The views looking over Kona and the ocean were amazing. The lanai was gorgeous! We did spend an evening sitting out there enjoying listening to the frogs. It is a beautiful home! We would definitely recommend this home to anyone visiting the area.

This nice little place was perfect for us. Location was great, the view was spectacular, it was super clean and comfortable (the coffee was great too!), and Amanda was a perfect host. Check-in/out was completely painless. Couldn't ask for more!

The description of this spot & photos don’t do it justice - this is the kind of place you imagine staying in when on the islands. Great views. Comfortable accommodations, easy to get to town, beaches, hiking, etc. Amanda & Michael are super helpful & responsive. Can’t wait to return.

Quaint, Quiet, Restful
We like being away from the crowds and enjoy nature so this Ohana fills those preferences very well. Love the privacy and the spectacular view from the patio. If you must be close to the noise of town then this isn’t your choice. That said we were a short beautiful 15 minute drive from most attractions. The outdoor shower, what can we say, we didn’t want to get out! The bed and linens were incredibly comfortable. Slept with just the screen door closed and loved the soothing sounds of the rainforest. Hosts were helpful but not intrusive. We definitely plan a return trip.

This place is as just outside the city and way from all the chaos. Loved listening to the frogs and birds. Cute little place with wonderful hosts. The outside shower was a great feature!!

Private setting with great view!
We booked this unit for my Son and Daughter-in-law while they were visiting us in Kona. They loved the private patio and amazing view. They also enjoyed exploring the nearby Holualoa town and found great stores, coffee shops and restaurants. This property is near Kona, Captain Cook, lots of coffee farms and hiking trails. They would definitely stay here again!

✨Mahalo Amanda & Michael, you both have created a retreat to accommodate every need. Appreciated the snacks dearly, comfortable bed, lanai space to relax and eat dinner. We were also treated to a beautiful full moon. Snorkeled at Kahala’u beach park and saw a day octopus 🐙, super exciting, hence our title. Looking forward to our return in December before we fly out! Fantastic stay!
This place is a real gem. The outdoor area is amazing. We loved having our morning coffee here and hanging out enjoying the view. Although the place is quite small, everything is very well thought out and organized. We had a very comfortable stay. It is extremely clean, even the outdoor shower is spotless. My husband and I are pretty picky about this and we were impressed! What makes this stay extra special is the host. She included so many extra conveniences including coffee, tea, bottled water, snacks, etc as well as a cooler, beach towels and chairs, etc. All communication with her was really helpful, prompt, and friendly.

Close enough so you have only a short drive to the town, but far enough away to have some quiet. Except for all the frogs at night but we enjoyed their concerts. The lanai is huge, you get your own littte backyard and the little window in the outside shower is brilliant! The room itself has a large bed and a kitchenette, great for a coffee in the morning. The little snacks provided are a nice touch. Will definitely stay here again!

Perfect Getaway Location
Easy to get to, and the set up was exactly what I needed. Extremely clean and private. Strangely enough, I absolutely loved the shower set up overlooking the ocean. Definitely recommend this spot for someone who is looking for accommodations near Kailua-Kona. This space made my first trip to Hawaii even more enjoyable than I anticipated.

Gorgeous, cozy, and that view!
This property was absolutely perfect for us. Plenty of space to enjoy the lanai and view outside. Big, comfy bed, adorable outdoor shower (also with a view), and thoughtful snacks (even earplugs). The kitchen area inside had plenty of room and implements to prep fruit and other light fare. Be prepared, the outdoor shower is indeed the only shower (we adored it). Also the fridge is not big, and the only cooking implement is a microwave (both under the eaves but on the lanai). This is not your space if you want to stay in and cook your meals or take bubble baths. However, it was centrally located to shops, department stores for all the essentials you forgot, tons of restaurants and breweries, and the ports for all the activities. 1000% would stay again. The owners were easy going, communicative but not intrusive, and super helpful with advice for the area. It truly was a magical little place to come home to after a long day of snorkeling or beach combing, with very easy clean up in the shower of all our sandy gear and selves.

It was a very lovely staying. Only some possibilty to dry wet clothes would be good. We missed a stove. Outside shower was great. We loved it. Tea an coffee were absolutly best
