“This property is so peaceful and cozy. Matthew is a great host as well. Due to the time of year that we went, there were some insects but Matthew was all over it. He was very understanding and made sure that it was taken care of. Overall we enjoyed our stay.”

We loved the small touches like the s’mores basket, indoor lights and AC on when we walked in, and the comfy bed. However, it would have been great to have lights on the pathway to the front of the home because it was dark when we arrived. “Fabulous stay at Lake Chateau! Booked a midweek stay for a change of scenery and this property was perfect for me and my partner. So many thoughtful touches from the host - they definitely tried to think of any and everything you may need. Much appreciated! Every light switch, every remote control, button and knob was clearly marked so that there was no confusion. We never needed to reach out to the host for anything. Note for travelers - the driveway up to the propery is very steep and……
