Everything was high tech and top quality, and the location was unbeatable, just steps away from the ferry port and the main attractions in the island. Breakfast was great, and service fantastic, including awesome recommendations for tour guides and restaurants. Overall, an outstanding experience in Hvar, and could not recommend Villa Porta Maestra enough.”

“The view from the room is lovely. The kitchen has the basics, plenty for breakfast and lunch. Without a car, there are many, many steps from the town center to the apartment. The landlord was exceptionally knowledgeable. Our ferry was cancel because of wind. She drove us across the island to the port where the car ferry was running. ”

“The room was very spacious and clean. It was in the heart of everything! We were only one minute away from the best restaurants, the marina, the beach, the grocery store to stock up on drinks / waters. It was only a minute away from Lola's a fun bar just up the stairs. The management team was so generous to give us extra time in the morning to pack up and catch the ferry. I highly recommend staying here!”

“This is a great apartment! Very clean, private courtyard, cute kitchen, and great location. But Marija is what made the stay perfect, with lots of recommendations and advice. She is a terrific host. Old town Hvar is wonderful and this is right inside it. So many restaurants and beaches and not enough time! I had a lovely stay here.”

“Good value for money and had everything we needed. Bed was very firm with minimal covers, but had good AC system. Walk to harbour not too bad but a good amount of stairs.”
